activated alumina: is ideal for use in drying compressed air and gas in both large and small dryers. our activated alumina is porous and spherical which gives it a very high water absorption capacity which allows for longer operating cycles and decreased energy consumption. the smooth yet porous beads ensures less dust during tower loading and depressurization. less dust means minimal chance of plugged or clogged pore orifices, valves and filters. our activated alumina can be regenerated to its original absorption capacity by purging with hot gas at 350 - 600 degrees fahrenheit.
silica gel beads: our silica gel beads are 97% silica and 3% alumina. silica gel can be used in many dryer applications including dehydration of compressed air and natural gas. the uniform bead shape and high bulk density combine to ensure optimum air/gas flow without channeling or nesting. minimal dusting occurs due to its smooth, hard, spherical shape. our silica gel beads are the perfect option for applications requiring long term economy, higher capacity, premium performance and energy savings. our silica gel is also available in blue with cobalt chloride. the blue silica gel can be used whenever visual control of moisture is desired. the color changes from blue to pink when saturating. the color change does not necessarily mean the silica gel is fully saturated, it can continue to absorb moisture up to 40% of its own weight.
molecular sieve: our molecular sieve is an alkali alumino-silicate. it is used to dehydrate air and gases in regenerative dryers and static drying. our molecular sieve can be regenerated by heating and purging, regeneration temperatures must be 400-600 degrees fahrenheit and should not exceed 1000 degrees.
deliquescent briquettes/dry-o-lite: our briquettes are tightly compressed to provide a dust free, strong and long lasting product. the unique size and almond shape are designed to reduce channeling and bridging that can occur in dryers. our briquettes are 91% pure active ingredient for more effective drying and longer life. our briquettes can attract up to 25% more moisture capacity than other comparable products. completely non toxic.
